Citrus Dust

The following recipe comes from Kitchen butterfly a fabulous Holland based food blog. This recipe is so creative and such a great way to preserve those amazing citrus flavors:



  1. bake at 350 for 1-2 hours
  2. remove and grind with sea salt with a pestle and mortar

Ideas for using it:

  • Citrus salted caramels
  • Citrus butters
  • Citrus salts and sugars, for cooking and baking
  • Citrus salt and pepper mixes
